Company Description : |
Arkenol Fuels has invented and patented a process to make a fuel that is equivalent to, but less expensive than, gasoline. The fuel is called “ethanol” and can be used as an energy source for many energy purposes, including fuel for cars. To make the fuel, the company uses a variety of waste materials that typically end up at a city or county “dump” – such as plant and tree clippings, paper and cardboard products or agricultural residues, such as rice straw. The company can also use debris such as branches, twigs and needles from felled trees. Arkenol’s patented process uses a chemical that breaks materials down into their basic components that are then used to make the fuel. Arkenol’s ethanol is lower in cost and the process is more energy efficient than any other ethanol product produced today – and aids the environment because it is bio-degradable and not harmful to our air and water. Another benefit of Arkenol’s process is that it extends the life of landfills because it uses many materials that are not typically recycled. The company’s process has been licensed to a fully operational ethanol plant located in Japan. |
