Biofuels Information Center (NREL)

Part of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC), contains a large resource of publications on biofuels and more importantly, a search engine that sifts though databases and publications related to biomass. Also maintains a quarterly newsletter Biofuels Update.

Biofuels Information Network (ONRL/NREL)

The Biofuels Information Network is and integral part of the U.S. Department of Energy, Biofuels System Division outreach activities. The BSD funds research and analyses on liquid and gaseous fuels produced from dedicated energy crops such as grasses and fast-growing short-rotation trees.

Biofuels Information on the Internet

Maintained in Greece, this site maintains a listing of not only American biomass energy information, but a listing of biomass sites around the world.

Chemical Manufacturers Association

The trade association representing the interests of the chemical industry.

Pure Energy Corporation

The developer of a cleaner-burning alternative automotive motor fuel. The fuel is made substantially from renewable biomass.

Renewable Fuels Association

A national trade association for the domestic ethanol industry.

Rolf Claessen's Chemistry Index

A very complete site run by a very nice German fellow.

SRI International

An independent, nonprofit organization, associated with Stanford University, which engages in research projects for government and business. It is a good source of reputable studies on various chemical markets.
